A Note from Twelve

Twelve begins with a simple shift, to focus on what stays, rather than what constantly changes.

The intent is to create elevated formalwear for women: pieces that can be worn, repeated, and returned to over time. Not more options. Just better ones.

Each piece works with familiar forms but approaches them differently. The focus lies in proportion, construction, and the small details that shape how a garment sits and moves. Fabric is part of that thinking, we work with cotton, Tencel, and satin, chosen for how they feel through a long day, and selected across designs for qualities like breathability, wrinkle resistance, and lasting freshness. The result is clothing that doesn't try to stand out immediately. It settles into you over time.

Twelve has launched with a focused set of formal shirts and dresses, designed for the modern Indian woman who dresses with intention. Over time, it will grow into a complete formalwear wardrobe, each category explored through the same underlying approach.

If it becomes something you reach for often, without needing to think about it, it's doing exactly what it was meant to.

From the Founder

Twelve comes from a personal way of seeing clothing.

I’m Twinkle, raised in and around fashion, and shaped by it over time. From studying fashion communication and styling to working across spaces like Elle, Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, and Ensemble, I’ve experienced the industry across editorial and retail.

But beyond that, my instinct has always leaned towards pieces that feel minimal, composed, and complete, where nothing feels excessive, yet nothing feels missing.

That instinct stayed. And eventually, it became Twelve.
